Porter and Nancy were children of Jeremiah Claxton, our earliest known
progenitor who was supposedly born in Bedford Co., TN in 1807; we know
he was in Bedford Co. in 1830 and probably earlier. He came
to Henry Co. about 1856.
Kate
was a daughter of Joel Porter.
Tillman
and Myron were grandchildren of Joel Porter though his son Jerry.
Joe
Claxton was a grandson of Joel Porter through Joel's son Joe Porter.
